Known for it’s bold programs by leading innovators and acknowledged masters in contemporary dance, music, theater and literature, the CAP UCLA 2018–19 season runs from September 22, 2018, to May 10, 2019.
The fabulous lineup includes Grammy award-winners Pat Metheny, Emmylou Harris, Sweet Honey In The Rock and Anoushka Shankar; writers David Sedaris, Rebecca Solnit, Elizabeth Gilbert and Cheryl Strayed; plus, a tribute to legendary choreographer Merce Cunningham; new works by acclaimed dance companies Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company and Batsheva Dance Company; the renowned Estonian Chamber Choir with the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra; and the return of Taylor Mac with his sassy new show, Holiday Sauce.
