What are you doing to promote a safe and healthy stay in light of COVID-19?

As we get back to doing what we do best – taking care of our guests and helping them create lasting memories – we are proceeding with new and measured considerations in mind, expanded health protocols and heightened hygiene standards. We have increased the frequency and sanitizing of spaces, high-touch surfaces using hospital-grade products; made face coverings mandatory for anyone entering the conference center, implementing physical distancing, making hand-sanitizing products readily accessible, providing paperless digital folios, offering contact-free meal delivery and facilitating virtual check-out by phone to name a few.

What time is Check-In and Check-Out?

Check-in time is 4 p.m. Check-out time is 12 p.m. If you need a short extension, please notify the front desk the morning of your departure. Is there restaurant/room service?

Plateia, the UCLA Luskin Conference Center’s full-service restaurant and lounge, located on the first level is currently closed. We anticipate a summer opening that is aligned with L.A. County’s re-opening framework. At that time, Plateia will be open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner and enhanced protocols and service procedures will be in effect, including required face coverings, reduced occupancy, physical distancing, cashless transactions and one-time use menus, to name a few. Reservations will also be required. Simply call 310-794-3563 or reserve online through OpenTable. Guests may also enjoy small plates and appetizers paired with wine, beer or cocktails in the lounge and on our courtyard patio.

Guests can self-park in the underground parking lot below the Conference Center or in Parking Structure 8, directly across the street. A pedestrian walkway is conveniently located to connect you from Parking Structure 8 to the Conference Center. There is a daily fee to park in either location. We do not offer valet parking at this time.

Is there a gift shop?

Not at this time, but the UCLA Store is located nearby in Ackerman Union. There you’ll find a huge inventory of UCLA-themed souvenirs, gifts and clothing; as well as computer accessories and supplies, and various sundries.

Is the UCLA Luskin Conference Center offering all of its standard amenities right now?

Unfortunately, no. Out of an abundance of caution, we have suspended our laundry, dry cleaning, shuttle, and daily housekeeping services. In addition, our on-site fitness center and other campus recreation facilities are closed. Our in-house restaurant, Plateia, is currently closed to the public; however, chefs are preparing delicious to-go meals exclusively for our hotel guest. All meals are delivered contact-free to guest rooms.

May I bring my pet dog with me?

Yes! Absolutely! We LOVE dogs of all sizes – service animals and pet pooches alike. For no additional fee, our Pup, Pup and Away promotion encourages dog-owners to bring their furry well-behaved companions with them to stay in one of our dog-friendly rooms (maximum two dogs per room). Our furry guests will receive a special tail-wagging welcome gift to make them feel more at home and a map of recommended places to walk with their humans. They are also invited to join you for a meal in our Plateia restaurant’s olive tree courtyard or patio and order from our Canine Cookery menu! Please note, there are certain rules that must be adhered to for the safety and comfort of all guests.

What is your tipping policy?

No tips are expected or accepted. The UCLA Meyer and Renee Luskin Conference Center, including Plateia restaurant, is a gratuity-free property. Our team members are paid a fair wage and take pride in providing warm, attentive, personal service to each guest.
