UCLA Luskin Conference Center scores big with Bruin basketball legend!
Basketball season brought a lot of fans and friends to the UCLA Meyer and Renee Luskin Conference Center, including UCLA basketball legend Bill Walton, class of 1974. Walton, who was on the campus to announce a Bruin basketball game at nearby Pauley Pavilion, gave the Luskin Conference Center a glowing review. During the basketball broadcast, he said he was “privileged to be staying right next door at the brand new UCLA Meyer and Renee Luskin Conference Center and hotel, designed to honor the link between innovation and rejuvenation.” He also had the opportunity to visit with fellow Bruin, alumni and donor, Meyer Luskin, who Walton found to be an inspiration.
Walton was looking forward to dining after the game at Plateia, the Luskin Conference Center’s Mediterranean-inspired restaurant and lounge, and he encouraged everyone listening to the broadcast to remember stop by there, too, both before and after the game.
