The UCLA Luskin Conference Center Meets the Needs of Visitors & Guests with Disabilities
Fully meeting the varied and important needs of all visitors and guests of the UCLA Luskin Conference Center is a top priority. As part of our service standard and as required by law, the Conference Center is fully compliant with ADA requirements for guests with disabilities. These compliance measures include making sure that our entrances and exits, guest rooms, meeting spaces, parking area, lobby, service counters, restaurant, and bathrooms are easily accessible to everyone.
Staff & Training
The Conference Center staff is fully trained on ADA regulations, accessibility features, policies for service animals, and effectively meeting the needs of our visitors and guests with disabilities. This includes being able to effectively communicate with guests in situations of difficulty with hearing and visual impairments.
Parking & Building Access
The Luskin Conference Center has several handicap accessible parking spaces located in the property’s parking garage next to the elevators. These spaces provide ample room to accommodate guests as they enter and exit vehicles parked in these spaces. All facility entryways are handicap accessible with ramps to easily enter and exit the building, and all are equipped with ADA push paddle controllers for automated door operation.
Guest Rooms & Bathrooms
Our reservation system provides information about accessibility to help visitors and guests to easily book guest rooms and meeting spaces. At the same time, our guest accommodations feature the following:

- Interior Doors with ADA Width Requirements
- Public Area Restrooms with ADA Accessible Stalls
Electronics
Door handles, hardware, and electronic controls in The Center are easy to operate and are placed according to ADA standards throughout our property. These include controls such as the room thermostat and light switches. The Luskin Conference Center also has visual fire alarms.
