Strikingly handsome from his youth until today, and with a deadpan sensibility that epitomizes cool, Ed Ruscha is a Southern California art superstar. While the surface of this work appears to be stone, it is actually handmade paper and very light. Sunset Boulevard forms the northern boundary of UCLA. Ultimately, it dead ends on the Pacific Coast Highway.
